We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and passionate Market Girl to join our small team and represent Hathor Tallow at the Chico Farmers Markets and seasonal events.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves connecting with people, enjoys being part of the community, and genuinely loves tallow skincare. You’ll be the friendly face of our brand at market, helping customers discover our products, answering questions, sharing why we love tallow, and creating a welcoming experience at our booth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Set up, manage, and break down our market booth
Sell our tallow skincare products and help customers find the right products for them
Talk confidently and enthusiastically about our products and what makes them so great
Provide friendly, genuine customer service
Handle products, inventory, displays, and market supplies with care
Transport market supplies and products to and from each market
Represent our brand with positivity and professionalism
Adapt to different markets, events, customers, and situations
Manage the till, stock and purchases
MARKETS & SCHEDULE
This is a part-time position, with markets typically 2–3 times per week, generally 6–7 hours per market.
Markets may include:
Wednesday markets
Saturday markets
Thursday markets when in season
Seasonal markets, pop-ups & special events

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT
You must have your own vehicle or reliable transportation that can accommodate transporting all necessary market items and products to and from the market.
PAY & OPPORTUNITY
Starting pay: Minimum wage
There is potential for growth within the company for the right person as our business continues to grow.
